The Ice Cubes is a Tauranga business peer support group of like-minded individuals who meet for breakfast (7:30am) every Friday morning to share ideas, challenges and successes.
Originally formed in 2003 as a "homework" group during an Icehouse (http://www.theicehouse.co.nz/) business programme. The group has now grown to include other like-minded entrepreneurs by invitation only.
We remain a relatively informal group of individuals who are all aiming for sustained success in our businesses by the most efficient means possible. We do this by using each other as a sounding board, mentoring point and general Dragon's Den-type panel. In this way we can learn from each other's successes and failures plus gain from the unique skills of others in the group.
Apart from our regular Friday breakfast meetings, we also try to visit other businesses of interest, invite guest-speakers to our meetings and arrange special interest seminars.
The Ice Cubes are run and managed by the voluntary support of its members. We share the responsibilities, decision making and general administration support.
